📢 Assam ITI Admission 2025 – Online Applications Invited

Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam invites online applications for admission to various Government and Private ITIs across Assam for the academic session 2025–2026. Interested candidates can apply for NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, and IMC-managed trades under the Craftsman Training Scheme.

• Academic Session: 2025–2026

• Board/Authority: NCVT and SCVT

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (Trade-wise):

• 📌 10th Pass or Equivalent

  • Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant

  • Fashion Design & Technology

  • Multimedia Animation & Special Effects

  • Mechanic Auto Body Painting

  • Fire & Safety, Cosmetology, etc.

  • Duration: 1 Year

• 📌 10th Pass with Science & Math

  • Mechanic Diesel, Pump Operator, Auto Body Repair, etc.

  • Electrician, Surveyor, Draughtsman, etc.

  • Duration: 1–2 Years

• 📌 8th Pass

  • Welder, Plumber, Wireman, Sewing Technology, etc.

  • Duration: 1–2 Years

• 📌 Others

  • BLTT (Bodo Language): 10th Pass, 6 Months

  • Mechanic Agricultural Machinery: 10th Pass with Science & Math, 2 Years

🔞 Age Limit: Minimum 14 years as on 1st August 2024

✅ Reservation of Seats

• 🔷 OBC/MOBC: 15% (All regions)

• 🔷 SC: 7% (All regions)

• 🔷 ST (Hills): 5% (General), 18% (Hill), 5% (Tribal)

• 🔷 ST (Plains): 10% (General), 10% (Hill), 20% (Tribal)

• 🔷 PwD: 4% (All regions)

• 🔷 EWS: 10% (All regions)

• 🔷 Tea Garden Labour / Ex-TGL: 2 seats reserved per ITI Trade

1. 📍 Register online at www.itiassam.nic.in

2. 📍 Report to the nearest Govt. ITI with original documents

3. 📍 Fill choices of trade/ITI after verification

4. 📍 Seat allotment through e-counseling

5. 📍 Confirm admission by reporting to the allotted ITI

• 🧾 Print allotment letter and confirm admission

✅ Application Fee Structure

For NCVT/SCVT Trades:

• Tuition Fee: ₹600 (1 Yr) / ₹1200 (2 Yrs)

• Caution Money (Refundable): ₹250

• Registration Fee: ₹25

• Medical Exam Fee: ₹25

• Trainees Union Fee: ₹175 (1 Yr) / ₹350 (2 Yrs)

• Hostel Service Charge: ₹50 (if applicable)

• Hostel Caution Money: ₹250 (if applicable)

• 💸 BPL candidates are exempt from tuition fees (except IMC courses)

For SCVT under IMC:

• Non-Engineering: ₹15,000 per year

• Engineering: ₹16,500 (1 Yr) / ₹33,000 (2 Yrs)
