Eligibility Criteria for APSC CCE 2025
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Regional Language Proficiency: Proficient in Assamese or any official language or tribal languages of the state.
- Residency: Must be an original inhabitant of Assam.
- Employment Exchange Registration: Must be registered with a District Employment Office of Assam.
- Small Family Norms: Must submit a declaration regarding "The Normal Family Norms" during application.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 38 years (as of 01.01.2024)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years

Selection Process for APSC CCE 2025
The APSC CCE exam is a two-stage process:
1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):
- Papers: 2
- Marks: 400 (200 marks for each paper)
- Duration: 2 hours for each paper
- Negative Marking: One-fourth of the marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
2. Main Examination (Written & Interview/ Personality Test):
- Written Examination: Consists of 6 papers, with 1500 total marks.
- Interview/Personality Test: 180 marks
